Ogden City City Council Meeting Results January 26, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. City Council Chambers Municipal Building – Third Floor 2549 Washington Boulevard, Ogden, Utah 84401 ***AMENDED*** 1. Roll Call. Recognitions: a. Idle Free Week. Joint Proclamation declaring February 7-14, 2016 as “Idle-free Week” in Ogden City. (Joint proclamation adopted, vote: 7-0) 5. Request to be on the Agenda: a. Weber State Downtown/Start-Up Ogden. Presentation of the progress report for Weber State Downtown and Start-up Ogden by Tom Christopulos. b. Ogden Weber Chamber of Commerce. Presentation of the vision for the future of the Ogden Weber Chamber of Commerce by Chuck Leonhardt. 6. Common Consent: (Voice vote) a. FY2015-2016 Arts Grants. Proposed Resolution 2016-4 awarding Arts Grants for FY2015-2016 and setting forth findings pursuant to Utah Code Ann. § 10-8-2 (2002). (Public hearing set for February 16, 2016, vote: 7-0) b. FY2016 Budget Amendment – WACOG and Miscellaneous Grant Funds. Proposed Ordinance 2016-4 amending the FY2016 in the amount of $3,150,000. (Public hearing set for February 16, 2016, vote: 7-0) 7. Reports from the Planning Commission: a. Mobile Food Trucks. Proposed Ordinance 2016-5 amending the Ogden Municipal Code by amending Section 15-13-27 regarding provisions related to mobile food trucks. (Ordinance adopted, vote: 7-0) 8. ***Reports from Administration: a. Temporary Land Use Regulation – Gibson Community Area. Proposed Ordinance 2016-6 adopting a temporary land use regulation regarding development in the Gibson Community Area. (Ordinance adopted, vote: 7-0) 9. Public Comments. This is an opportunity to address the Council regarding concerns or ideas on any topic. To be considerate of everyone at this meeting, public comments will be limited to three minutes ---PAGE BREAK--- per person. Participants are to state their name and address for the record. Comments which cannot be made within these limits should be submitted in writing to the City Council Office ([EMAIL REDACTED]). The Council encourages civil discourse for everyone who participates in our meetings.
