Ogden City City Council Meeting Results December 13, 2016 City Council Chambers Municipal Building – Third Floor 2549 Washington Boulevard, Ogden, Utah 84401 6:00 p.m. City Council Meeting Council Chambers 1. Roll Call. Chair White Vice Chair Blair Council Member Hyer Council Member Garner Council Member Lopez Council Member Stephens 2. Pledge of Allegiance. 3. Moment of Silence. 4. Recognition: a. Suicide and Bullying Awareness. Consideration of Joint Resolution 2016-14 raising public awareness of suicide and bullying. (Joint resolution adopted, vote: 6-0) 5. Request to be on the Agenda: 6. Reports from the Planning Commission: a. Vacation Rentals: i. Presentation. ii. Accept public input. iii. Consideration of proposed Ordinance 2016-63 with Option 1 OR Option 2: 1. Option 1: Allow short-term residential vacation rentals in multi-family zones as either owner- occupied rentals or non-owner occupied rentals if all permits and requirements are met and in limited cases in single-family zones where a unit reduction incentive is used. OR 2. Option 2: Allow short-term residential vacation rentals in multi-family zones as owner-occupied or non-owner occupied rentals if all permits and requirements are met and allow short-term residential vacation rentals in single-family zones if they are owner-occupied rentals. iv. Proposed Ordinance 2016-63 regarding short-term residential vacation rentals. (No final decision was made; motion to reconsider the item at the December 20, 2016 meeting passed, vote: 6-0) 7.
