REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR CREATIVE DISTRICT PLAN Ogden City Corporation is accepting proposals from qualified planning and design firms to develop a Plan and Concept Design for Ogden’s Creative District. The Creative District Plan (CDP) should focus on placemaking strategies, including both programmatic and physical elements. Elements to be addressed in the CDP may include, but are not limited to, streetscape design, potential public use areas, public art, signage and wayfinding, gateway markers, street furniture, transit stops, landscape and plantings, and crosswalks. Proposal information packets may be downloaded (PDF format), free of charge, from the Ogden City website at bids.ogdencity.com (which redirects to http://bids.ogdencity.com/264/Purchasing) or obtained from Ogden City Purchasing (fees may apply), 2549 Washington Blvd., Suite 510, Ogden, Utah, weekdays between the hours of 8:30 am and 4:30 pm. Respondents are responsible for securing any and all addenda issued, which will also be posted to the bids.ogdencity.com website no later than 48 hours before the proposal deadline. Responses to this Request for Proposals shall be submitted to the City Purchasing Agent via email at [EMAIL REDACTED] or in-person at 2549 Washington Boulevard, Suite 510 (5th Floor), Ogden, Utah, no later than March 23, 2017 by 2:00 pm, at which time they will be opened and read aloud. Please note that all Visitors must check in at the 2nd floor information desk. LATE PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any Proposals that best serve its convenience and/or is found to be in the best interest of the City.
