01/05/09 Foundations for effective government Ogden City Council Foundations for an Effective City Legislative Body Group Norms Rules of Procedure Legislative Intents Goals, Work plan, Calendar Budget Capital Improvement Plan, Ordinances, Resolutions, Audits Council & City Staff, Advisory Committees Meetings, Workgroups, Work Sessions Ogden City Council Members The Council exists to establish the laws of the City through plans and ordinances, to determine what services should be provided and at what level, to establish tax rates and fees, to investigate concerns regarding improprieties of the Administration, to conduct financial and management audits, and pass resolutions as deemed appropriate.
