Ogden City Council September 19, 2017 City Council Chambers Municipal Building – Third Floor 2549 Washington Boulevard, Ogden, Utah 84401 4:00 p.m. Work Session City Council Work Room September 19, 2017 The purpose of the joint work session includes presentations and discussions regarding: Agenda review for the City Council meeting; Council/Mayor/Director Discussion; Front Yard Parking Amendments; Planning Update; Council comments; and Council business. Any items not fully addressed prior to the City Council meeting, which begins at 6:00 p.m., may be addressed immediately following that meeting. 6:00 p.m. City Council Meeting City Council Chambers September 19, 2017 1. Roll Call. 2. Pledge of Allegiance. 3. Moment of Silence. 4. Recognition: a. Youth Impact. Recognition of Youth Impact for providing Ogden’s youth with a safe place to learn, socialize, and grow during the past 25 years. (No action required) 5. Approval of Minutes: (voice vote) a. Regular meeting of November 1, 2016 – Council member Stephens 6. Common Consent (voice vote): a. Fiscal Year 2018 Capital Improvement Plan Amendment – Courtyard Inn. Proposed Ordinance 2017-41 amending the FY2018-2022 Capital Improvement Plan by adding Project CD080 to acquire property at 445 25th Street for use as a public plaza. (Set public hearing for October 3, 2017) b. Fiscal Year 2018 Arts Grants Proposal. Proposed Resolution 2017-20 awarding Arts Grants for FY2017-18. (Set public hearing for October 10, 2017) ---PAGE BREAK--- September 19, 2017 Page 2 of 2 7. Public Comments. This is an opportunity to address the Council regarding concerns or ideas on any topic. To be considerate of everyone at this meeting, public comment will be limited to three minutes per person. Participants are to state their name for the record. Comments, which cannot be made within these limits, should be submitted in writing to the City Council Office ([EMAIL REDACTED]). The Council encourages civil discourse for everyone who participates in our meetings. Comments pertaining to an agenda item that includes a public hearing or public input should be given during the meeting as that item is discussed. 8. Comments: a. Mayor. b. Council members. 9.
