Ogden City City Council Meeting Results January 27, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. City Council Chambers Municipal Building – Third Floor 2549 Washington Boulevard, Ogden, Utah 84401 1. Roll Call. Present: Vice Chair White Council Member Blair Council Member Garner Council Member Gochnour Council Member Stephens Council Member Wicks 2. Pledge of Allegiance. 3. Moment of Silence. 4. Recognition: a. Be A Friend Program. Proposed Joint Resolution 2015-4 recognizing the “Be A Friend Program” for servings as an invaluable resource to Ogden School District Junior High and High School Students. (Joint resolution adopted, vote: 6-0) b. Ogden High Mountain Bike Team. Proposed Joint Resolution 2015-6 recognizing the Ogden High Mountain Bike Team for its exceptional performance at state. (Joint resolution adopted, vote: 6-0) c. Idle-free Week. Joint Proclamation declaring February 8-15, 2015 as “Idle-free Week” in Ogden City. (Joint proclamation adopted, vote: 6-0) 5. Request to be on the Agenda: a. Ogden City Arts: i. Presentation of sunset report. ii. Proposed Ordinance 2015-2 amending Section 3-16-5 of the Ogden Municipal Code to extend the sunset provision for the Ogden City Arts Committee to December 31, 2017. (Ordinance adopted, vote: 5-0) 6. Common Consent (voice vote): a. Ogden City Arts Appointments. Consideration of the appointment of Alicia Washington, Kase Johnstun, and Jane Font to the Ogden City Arts committee. (Appointments approved, vote: 5-0) b. Cancellation of Meetings. Consideration of the cancellation of the February 17th and the March 3rd Council meetings. (Meetings canceled, vote: 5-0) 7. Public Hearings: a. 2014 Water Conservation Plan. Proposed Joint Resolution 2015-5 adopting the 2014 Water Conservation Plan. (Joint resolution adopted, vote: 5-0) 8.
