Policy Title: Approved IT Equipment Purchase by Departments Policy ID: IT-7 Origination Date: October 24, 2014 Update Date: October 24, 2014 IT7-1 Policy It is the policy of Ogden City IT to allow departments to order and purchase hardware that is approved to purchase by IT. IT7-2 Policy Purpose This policy suplements City Policy 1410 “1410 – Hardware and Software Purchasing” and describes I.T. internal procedures to to allow departments to order and purchase hardware that is approved to purchase by IT. IT7-3 Evidence of Compliance The City’s department can purchase standard common hardware with the use of IT. IT7-4 Policy Procedures Approved IT equipment departments can order themselves  Mouse  Keyboard  Jumpdrive/flashdrive  Webcamera  External Hard Drives  External DVD players  Speakers  Surge protectors/power strips  Cables/adapters  Mobile Applications IT7-5 Enforcement: Any employee found to have violated this policy may be subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment.
