CITY OF MURRAY DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS Neighborhood Roll-Off boxes may be scheduled year round for a residential or neighborhood clean-up by calling the Public Works Department at [PHONE REDACTED] with the exception of designated City holidays. I hereby request use of a Neighborhood Roll-Off box and agree to comply with the following conditions: 1. Neighborhood Roll-Off boxes may only be scheduled by the same household once every six months or twice a year at a cost of $200.00. 2. Neighborhood Roll-Off boxes are for residential use only. Businesses or commercial contractors are excluded. 3. Neighborhood Roll-Off boxes shall be utilized for all debris, except hazardous materials or excessive amounts of concrete. Any appliance (such as a refrigerator or freezer) containing Freon must have Freon removed by a licensed technician and the appliance must be properly tagged. Fifty-five (55) gallon drums are acceptable if the tops have been removed or they have been cut in half. 4. Toxic, hazardous or flammable materials, pesticides, herbicides, solvents, chemicals, paint, motor oil, gasoline, TIRES, batteries and excessive amounts of concrete are UNACCEPTABLE items and are not to be deposited in the Neighborhood Roll-Off boxes. Please call Salt Lake County, [PHONE REDACTED], for hazardous material disposal information. 5. Any combination of concrete, railroad ties, rocks, dirt or sod can be filled up to 1/3 FULL ONLY. (About 2 feet of the dumpster.) 6. Neighborhood Roll-Off boxes will not be loaded above the top rim of the container. Residents using the Neighborhood Roll-Off boxes will be required to clean up any spillage from overloading as well as the Neighborhood Roll-Off box area when it is removed. 7. I release, indemnify and hold the City harmless from any and all liability for damages and personal injuries resulting from City equipment or personnel to deliver or remove the requested Neighborhood Roll-off boxes. 8. I agree to be responsible for damage done to the Neighborhood Roll-Off boxes while they are being used at my residence. 9. All Neighborhood Roll-Off boxes will not be ‘OVERLOADED’. Materials cannot be hanging over the sides or above the top of the container. Overage will be left at the home owner’s location and this WILL NOT be Murray City’s responsibility. 10. I will pay any cost associated with manual dumping of the Neighborhood Roll-Off boxes or sorting of materials which are placed in the Neighborhood Roll-Off boxes in violation of the above conditions including damages to the Neighborhood Roll-Off boxes, estimated at $250.00. 11. All court costs and attorney’s fees incurred in the event of legal action to enforce any term or condition of this agreement will be my responsibility.
