Merit Increase Performance Standard and Red-Line Status If your Performance Pro evaluation score places you in the “fully successful” category, you will be eligible to receive an annual merit increase up to 110% of midpoint. In order to go above 110% and up to the maximum of the range (red-lined), your rating score must be in the “high performer” category. Individuals who advance to the end of the pay scale will enter redline status. This means that although their work will be evaluated on a yearly basis, they will not be eligible for additional merit raises.
