Social Security (FICA) As a city employee a full range of Social Security benefits are available to you. These include retirement benefits, a death benefit for your spouse and children under age 18 should you die before retirement age, and disability benefits if you are disabled and unable to work for twelve months or longer. The city matches your contribution of 7.65% of your gross income to the Social Security System for these benefits. Applicants offered employment with Murray City Corporation will be required to show their Social Security Card at the time of completing the W-4 form.
