MURRAY CITY CORPORATION NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 15th day of October, 2009, at the hour of 6:30 p.m. of said day in the Council Chambers of Murray City Center, 5025 South State Street, Murray, Utah, the Murray City Planning Commission will hold and conduct a Public Hearing on and pertaining to a General Plan Amendment from Industrial Commercial Retail and Residential Multi-Family Medium Density to Mixed Use and a zone change from M-G-C (Manufacturing General Conditional), C-D-C (Commercial Development Conditional) and A-1 (Agricultural) to M-U (Mixed Use Development District) located in the area approximately from Murray Boulevard to the UTA Light Rail Line and 4800 South to 5200 South. The General Plan amendment and zone change are being requested in conjunction with an amendment to the text of the Mixed Use Development District chapter of the zoning ordinance. A copy of the proposed changes to the text may be obtained by contacting the Community & Economic Development office at 4646 South 500 West, Murray or (801) 270-2420.
