CONSTRUCTION NOTICE 4800 South - Atwood to 820 East March 14, 2011 Dear Resident: Murray City will be reconstructing 4800 South from Atwood to 820 East. The project will include removing the old concrete road, installing new water lines, storm drains, minor curb and gutter and sidewalk replacement and new asphalt pavement. We anticipate the project to begin in late April and continue through September. Due to the narrow width of the road and the amount of underground utility work on the project, we anticipate that traffic will need to run one way from Atwood to 820 East through most of the summer. This will be an inconvenience but necessary to provide safety for residents and the construction crews onsite. As the project gets underway, we will continue to provide updates and information to residents directly impacted along 4800 South and general information to all residents on the City’s web site (www.murray.utah.gov).
