ASPHALT PAVING HELPFUL HINTS FOR PROPERTY OWNERS • Please read attached notices carefully. • Make note of dates that work is to be done. • Do not excessively water lawns adjacent to roadway. • If you require the need to come and go during the duration of the project, please park on a side street. • Starting times of the project are printed on the notice. Allow at least an extra 15 min. leeway for early removal of vehicles from drives and roadways. • If special needs are required for elderly or handicapped individuals, please call as soon as possible: 270-2440 or e-mail us at [EMAIL REDACTED] • The roadway will be re-opened to traffic as soon as the rolling procedure is completed and the surface has cooled. • After paving, the surface will be “tender” for several days. Sharp turning of tires will mark the surface. • Do not park heavy vehicles such as trailers and boats on the new surface. • If paving dates coincide with normal garbage pick-up, please have cans curbside no later than 7:00 A.M. • Please keep in mind that paving depends greatly on weather conditions. If rain is forecast, delays or cancellations could occur. This will move paving dates to the next available day. Thank you for your cooperation in these areas of concern.
