ARTICLE XVI VIOLATION OF THESE RULES AND REGULATIONS Section 1 Paragraph 1. Penalties Violations of the provisions of this ordinance shall be grounds for suspension or discharge from the Career Service. Paragraph 2. Any person who has violated any provision under this chapter shall, for a period of five years, be ineligible for employment in the Career Service. If an appointed officer or employee of the City government, the person shall forfeit his or her office or position. Rev 11/99 - 38 -
