RESOLUTION 2000 - 23 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MOSCOW, A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE STATE OF IDAHO, ADOPTING CITY OF MOSCOW, IDAHO "BIKE PATHS AND PEDESTRIAN WALKWAYS" MAP WHICH REVISES THE 1991 BIKE PATH AND WALKWAYS MAP RELATED TO THE MOSCOW CITY CODE TITLE 11, CHAPTER 2, SECTION 3; PROVIDING THIS RESOLUTION TO BE EFFECTIVE UPON ITS PASSAGE AND APPROVAL. WHEREAS, the purpose of this Resolution is to promote public safety by restricting the presence of motor vehicles in and on bike paths, pedestrian walkways, and parks for the enjoyment of the public; and WHEREAS, a previous Bike Path and Pedestrian Walkways map has been incorporated into the Moscow City Code Title 11, Chapter 2, Section 3; and WHEREAS, there have been several additional paths, walkways, and parks since the adoption of the Bike Paths and Pedestrian Walkways map in 1991; and WHEREAS, it is deemed necessary to incorporate these new bike paths, walkways, and parks into the Moscow City Code provisions governing access to walkways and bike paths; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Moscow, that the attached "Bike Paths and Pedestrian Walkways" map dated September 25, 2000 is hereby adopted and is hereby applied to Title 11, Chapter 2, Section 3 as amended.
