RESOLUTION NO. 2007. 17 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MOSCOW, A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE STATE OF IDAHO, DESIGNATING CITY SUPERVISOR GARY J. RIEDNER AS THE CITY'S DELEGATED REPRESENTATIVE FOR THE 5309 BUS AND BUS FACILITIES PROGRAM GRANT FROM THE FEDERAL TRANSIT ADMINISTRATION; PROVIDING THIS RESOLUTION TO BE EFFECTIVE UPON ITS PASSAGE AND APPROVAL. WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council of Moscow, Idaho, approved on January 17, 2006, the City Public Works Department to apply for transit improvement funding through Community Transit Association of Idaho (CTAI), a Washington D.C. based consulting firm who assists in the appropriation of federal funds assistance, and WHEREAS, the City of Moscow, Idaho, was awarded an appropriation of funding by the Federal Transit Administration from the 5309 Bus and Bus Facilities Program funding; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Moscow as follows: I. That, as a requirement of the program guidelines, and to become an eligible grantee, the City has Gary J. Riedner, City Supervisor, as its representative to apply for and to accept Federal Transportation Administration (FT A) grants; 2. That the City, now submit an approved environmental review and a final grant application in order to obligate the appropriation designated for the project submitted by CT AI; 3. The City is submitting the required documentation to access FTA's computer systems through the Transportation Electronic Award Management System (TEAM) to apply for grant approval; 4. The City is submitting an application to use the FTA's Electronic Clearing House Operation (ECHO) computer system used to draw down funds for expenses after the grant has been awarded; 5. That this Resolution shall become effective as of the date of approval by the City Council. PASSED AND APPROVED by the Mayor of the City of Moscow, Idaho, this 6'h day of August, 2007.
