ADDENDUM #2 to AGREEMENT FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE CITY OF MOSCOW 201 WASTEWATER FACILITIES PLAN dated the 25th day of November, 1991 by and between the CITY OF MOSCOW, IDAHO, hereinafter referred to as THE OWNER, and KIMBALL ENGINEERING, P.A, hereinafter referred to as THE ENGINEER. SECTION L Task Description of said Contract shall be amended as follows: Add the following new Task 19: A THE ENGINEER shall furnish the following Engineering Services for onsite evaluation of excessive sources of inflow by performing smoke testing. Provide personnel and equipment to inject smoke into sections of sewer pipe and document locations of smoke venting with pictures and notes. Prepare a report on sources and projected volume of infiltration. Approximately 123 segments, or 56,000 feet, of pipe will be tested. Following is a breakdown of the areas to be tested and additional work, including estimated cost: 1. Smoke Testing. Through flow monitoring, review of pump station records, and conversations with staff, the following six ( 6) sub-basins have been identified for smoke testing this summer: 2. • low lying area around South Pump Station $ 3,400 J-20-4 (north), Camas and Harold 3,400 • Southeast Sewer District . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 5,200 • Portion of N. Fees and Conditions for Consulting Services of said Contract shall be amended as follows: Amend Subsection II-1-e as follows: e. The estimated cost, including Fixed Fee, for Engineering Services as described in Section I Task 19 is $28,000. The Fixed Fee shall be $3,000. All other provisions of said Contract shall remain.
