' 308466 ORDINANCE NO. 1418 AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN LANDS PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED IN SECTION 2 OF THIS ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MOSCOW, IDAHO; PROVIDING THAT THE CITY MAP AND THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN OF THE CITY OF MOSCOW, IDAHO BE AMENDED ACCORDINGLY AND PROVIDING FOR THE PUBLICATION AND EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOSCOW, IDAHO: WHEREAS, the land described in Section 2 of this Ordinance is land lying adjacent to the City of Moscow, Idaho; and whereas said land is intended and can reasonably be assumed to be used for the orderly develop ment of the City of Moscow, Idaho; and whereas the owners of said land have requested in writing of the Council of the City of Moscow, Idaho, that said land be annexed to the City of Moscow, Idaho: SECTION 1. ANNEXATION. That the land described in Section 2 of this Ordinance be and the same hereby is annexed to the City of Moscow, Idaho, and that said land be and the same hereby is declared a part of the City of Moscow, Idaho. SECTION2. DESCRIPTION. That the land annexed to and declared to be a part of the City of Moscow, Idaho, by this Ordinance is situated in Latah County, State of Idaho, and is more particuarly described as follows, to-wit: Beginning at the Northeast corner of Sec. 8 T. 39 R. 5 B.M.; thence N 89° 7' 36" W 2,178.03 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence N 88° 44' 24" W 456.14 feet to the!- corner between Sec. 5 and 8; thence S 00° 37' 24" W 160 feet; thence S 88° 44' 24" E 205.10 feet, thence S 01° 05' 16" W 639.05 feet and crossing Public Avenue to the South right-of-way line of said Avenue; thence S 89° 08' 20" East 250 feet along said right-of-way line; thence N 01° 04' 06" E 797.31 feet leaving said right-of-way line and crossing Public Avenue to the point of beginning. This tract contains 5.33 acres. SECTION 3. The City Engineer of the City of Moscow, Idaho be and is hereby ordered and directed to make the necessary amendments to the Official Zoning Map and Comprehensive Plan of the City of Moscow, Idaho, which map and plan are on file at the City Hall at the City of Moscow, Idaho, to provide that said area is to be henceforth a part of the City of Moscow, Idaho. SECTION 4. PUBLICATION. That this Ordinance shall be published in one issue of the official newspaper of the City of Moscow, Idaho. ---PAGE BREAK--- 30846f3 SECTION 5. EFFECTIVE DATE. That this Ordinance shall be effective from and after the date of its passage and approval and the publication thereof in the aforesaid official newspaper of the City of Moscow, Idaho.
