RESOLUTION NO. 2003 -10 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MOSCOW. A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE STATE OF IDAHO, FOR CONVEYANCE OF ORIGINAL FIRE STATION PROPERTY. WHEREAS, the City purchased Lots 12 and 13, Block 3 of the Quail Run Addition to the City of Moscow, Idaho on the 15th day of January, 2002, for the total amount of forty thousand dollars ($40,000); and WHEREAS, such lots were purchased for the purpose of constructing Moscow Fire Station No. 3; and WHEREAS, it was determined by Council that purchase and development of other property was a more appropriate location for Fire Station No. 3; and WHEREAS, City has determined that the two lots originally purchased for development of Fire Station No. 3 are no longer to be utilized for that purpose; and WHEREAS, Council has determined that it is appropriate that the City declare its intent to sell the lots in question for not less than twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) each or for less than forty thousand dollars ($40,000) together; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the City of Moscow, Idaho that: l. Council deems it to be in the best interest of the City to sell Lots 12 and 13 of Block 3 of the Quail Run Addition to the City of Moscow, Idaho. 2. Lots 12 and 13 of Block 3 of the Quail Run Addition to the City of Moscow, Idaho are hereby declared surplus and are no longer needed for the purpose for which they were purchased. 3. Lot 12 and Lot 13 of Block 3 of the Quail Run Addition to the City of Moscow, Idaho may be sold separately for not less than twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) individually or forty thousand dollars ($40,000) collectively. 4. City staff is authorized by Council to engage an agent to act on behalf of the City for purposes of sale of the lots in question above the minimum established herein by public auction to the highest bidder. 5. These Lots shall be sold pursuant to Idaho Law. 6. That this Resolution shall become effective as of the l5'hday of December, 2003.
