RESOLUTION NO. 90-01 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MOSCOW, A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF IDAHO, PROVIDING FOR USE OF FOURTH STREET AND THE NORTH BAY OF THE CITY'S JACKSON STREET PARKING LOT BY THE MOSCOW FARMERS' MARKET; PROVIDING THAT THIS RESOLUTION SHALL BE EFFECTIVE FROM ITS PASSAGE AND APPROVAL THROUGH OCTOBER 30, 1990. WHEREAS, the City Council deems it in the public interest to continue to provide space for the Moscow Farmers' Market; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOSCOW AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: The City shall provide that the north bay of the Jackson street parking lot and Fourth Street between Friendship Square and Jackson Street shall be available for use by Moscow Farmers' Market on Saturdays from May 11, 1990, to October 30, 1990, between the hours of 6:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m SECTION 2: The City will maintain signs in the Jackson Street parking lot and the Fourth Street area indicated above to make it known to the public that parking in the area between 2:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. is unlawful. SECTION 3: Vehicles parking in the above indicated areas between 2:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. will be regularly cited; vehicles which remain parked in the north bay of the Jackson Street parking lot will be towed from the area, with the assistance of the Moscow Police Department, prior to 7:00 a.m. on Saturdays, when the Farmers' Market is in operation and after appropriate signs have been erected. The decision on whether or not to tow vehicles shall remain with the Moscow Police Department. SECTION 4: City ordinances will be amended prior to May 11, 1990 to reflect necessary changes. SECTION 5: Fourth Street between Friendship Square and Washington Street will no longer be designated or utilized for Farmers' Market use. SECTION 6: This Resolution shall be effective from and after its passage and approval and shall expire on October 30, 1990. ---PAGE BREAK--- PASSED bSc the Council and APPROVED by the Mayor this 22nd day of anuary , 1990.
