RESOLUTION NO. 2016 - 16 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MOSCOW, IDAHO, A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE STATE OF IDAHO, REGARDING FEDERAL AND/OR STATE FUNDING, AND TO APPOINT MANAGEMENT OF FEDERAL AND STATE PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION INFRASTRUCTURE RELATED GRANT AW ARDS; PROVIDING THAT THIS RESOLUTION SHALL BE IN EFFECT UPON ITS PASSAGE, AND APPROVAL. WHEREAS, the City of Moscow, Idaho, its Mayor and City Council are aware of the provisions of Federal Transit Administration (FTA) program funding requirements of each application it submits to the State of Idaho Transportation Department, Public Transportation for Federal and/or State funding; and WHEREAS, the Moscow City Council hereby appoints Alisa Anderson, Grants Manager, as the Authorized Representative for the City of Moscow regarding Federal and/or State funding, and to assist in providing management of Federal and/or State Public Transportation Capital Projects grant awards; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Moscow as follows: 1. The Moscow City Council agrees to provide the required local match for the capital assistance funding and the necessary insurance coverage as required in an upcoming State/Local Agreement. 2. The Moscow City Council agrees to comply with all FTA and ITD-PT Program statutes, regulations, directives, certifications and assurances to carry out the project as described in the funding application(s). 3. That this Resolution shall become effective as of the 19th day of September, 2016. PASSED AND APPROVED by the Mayor of the City of Moscow, Idaho, this 19th day of September, 2016.
