ORDINANCE NO. 1159 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1131 OF THE ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF MOSCOW, IDAHO, AS AMENDED, BY DEFINING, ESTABLISHING AND DECLARING IN THIS ORDINANCE THE BOUNDARIES AND CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF MOSCOW, LATAH COUNTY, IDAHO, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF IDAHO MADE AND PROVI DING FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE BOUNDARIES AND THE ANNEXATION OF ADJACENT AND CONTIGUOUS TERRITORY; AND FOR THE REPEALING OF ANY OTHER ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH; AND FOR A SEVERANCE AND SAVINGS CLAUSE; AND FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOSCOW, IDAHO: SECTION 1: The City of Moscow, Latah County, Idaho, shall embrace, include and contain within its corporate limits all the territory embraced,· included and encompassed within the lines and boundaries as in this Ordinance bounded and described. Oylear tract to a point six hun dred seventy (670.0) feet east of the center line of Blaine Street, thence North about five hundred eighty-five (585.0) feet along a line parallel to and six hundred seventy (670.0) feet east of the center line of Blaine Street to the north line of said Southeast Quarter (SE) of Section Eight thence East along said north line a distance of four hundred (4oO.O) feet, thence South two hundred forty-five and twenty-nine hundredths (245.29) feet, thence East two hundred seventy-five and four tenths (275.40) feet to a point on the west line of the public highway, thence North two hundred forty-two (242.0) feet along said west line of the public highway to the point of beginning. SECTION 3: All that territory bounded and included within the lines set forth in Section 2 of this Ordinance is hereby declared and ordained ---PAGE BREAK--- to be within the corporate limits of the City of Moscow, and to be and consti- tute the territory subject to the jurisdiction of the municipality of the City of Moscow, County of Latah, State of Idaho. SECTION 4: This Ordinance is an amendment to Ordinance No. 1131 of the Ordinances of the City of Moscow, Idaho. SECTION 5: This Ordinance repeals all ordinances or parts of ordinances, in conflict with this Ordinance, insofar as said Ordinances in any way conflict with this Ordinance, are hereby repealed. SECTION 6: If any section, sentence, clause or phrase of this Ordinance if for any reason held to be unconstitutional, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining section, sentences, clauses or phrases of this Ordinance, or the Ordinance as an entirety, it being the legislative intent that this Ordinance shall stand notwithstanding the invalidity of such section, sentence, clause or phrase. SECTION 7: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage, approval and first publication thereof. ADOPTED this 30th AITEST: -8 - day of September ' 1968.
