AN AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT FOR CONTRACT SERVICES BETWEEN WALTER M. STEED & ASSOCIATES AND THE CITY OF MOSCOW, IDAHO THIS AMENDMENT made this 7th day of June, 1994, to the AGREEMENT FOR CONTRACT SERVICES dated February 22, 1993, between the CI1Y OF MOSCOW, hereinafter referred to as the "City," and WALTER M. STEED & ASSOCIATES, whose address is 1345 Ridgeview Drive, Moscow, Idaho 83843, hereinafter referred to as the "Contractor," W I T N E S S E T H: WHEREAS, the CI1Y has received Community Development Block Grant funds from the Idaho Department of Commerce, hereinafter referred to as the "Department," for the construction of infrastructure improvements on White Avenue in the City of Moscow, Idaho, and has made a request to the Department for additional funds for the purpose of constructing Phase II of said project; and WHEREAS, the CI1Y has engaged CONTRACTOR to render certain services related to the administration of Phase I of the above CDBG Project; and WHEREAS, this Amendment does not serve to release the parties from the rights and obligations pursuant to the terms of the existing Agreement For Contract Services; and WHEREAS, in order to assure effective management of Phase II of the above Project, it is deemed to be in the best interests of the CI1Y to an1end their existing agreement with the CONTRACTOR as hereinafter provided; NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto do mutually agree as follows: 1. That all services to be performed by CONTRACTOR pursuant to the Agreement for Contract Services for Phase I of the Project shall be applicable to and shall be performed by Contractor for Phase II of the Project. 2. That ATTACHMENT SCOPE OF SERVICES, shall have the following item added: "18. For Phase II of the Project, CONTRACTOR shall provide services to assure compliance with all ICDBG relocation standards requirements as detailed in Chapter V of the Grant Administration Manual." 3. That ARTICLE 7, COMPENSATION, shall have the following added: "For the completion of the services in Phase II, the CI1Y will pay the CONTRACTOR an additional sum of THREE THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED AND EIGH1Y -EIGHT DOLLARS ($3,688.00). The CI1Y agrees to pay said amount as set forth in the following additions to ATTACHMENT AGREEMENT FOR SERVICES PAGE 1 94-42 ---PAGE BREAK--- Upon execution of Phase II construction contract and completion of pre construction conference, including but not limited to: work to relocate tenant from Phase II site; work with the CITI as required in the preparation of bid package; bid opening/award; assistance with execution of the construction contract; and conduct of the pre-construction conference. CONTRACTOR shall receive ONE THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED AND FORTI -FOUR DOLLARS ($1,844.00). During construction period, including but not limited to: work with contractors and subcontractors to monitor Davis-Bacon; civil rights and all other required compliance activities; project management; attendance at meetings; maintenance of communication among all parties, i.e., the CITI, the Department of Commerce, the Idaho Housing Agency, engineers, contractors and other as needed; and the conduct of project monitoring, as needed. CONTRACTOR shall receive ONE THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED AND FORTI-FOUR DOLLARS ($1,844.00)." That ARTICLE 1 1, DOCUMENTS INCORPORATED BY REFERENCE, have added the following: "Attachment the City of Moscow's CONTRACT AMENDMENT NO. 1 with the Department." All other conditions and stipulations of the Professional Services Contract remain in full force and effect.
