RESOLUTION NO. 2011 - 01 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MOSCOW, A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE STATE OF IDAHO, AGREEING TO SUPPORT THE PROJECT IDENTIFICATION SUBMITTAL FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE MOUNTAIN VIEW ROAD, PARADISE CREEK BRIDGE TO SIXTH STREET IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT TO THE LOCAL HIGHWAY TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE COUNCIL (LHT AC); PROVIDING THIS RESOLUTION TO BE EFFECTIVE UPON ITS PASSAGE AND APPROVAL. WHEREAS, the Local Highway Technical Assistance Council (hereinafter referred to as '·LHTAC"), has made a call for submittals of proposed projects for funding under the Surface Transportation Program - Urban (STP-U) program; and WHEREAS, the City of Moscow (hereinafter referred to as '·CITY') has identified a project for potential funding as the proposed Mountain View Road, Paradise Creek to Sixth Street Improvements project; and WHEREAS, the estimated total project cost is one million six hundred fifty thousand four hundred dollars ,650,400), which will require one hundred twenty one thousand one hundred thirty nine dollars ($121, 139) of local matching funds available from the CITY; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Moscow, Idaho as follows: That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed by the City Council to sign the project identification packet and submit to LHT AC for prioritization.
