RESOLUTION NO. 2015-15 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MOSCOW, IDAHO, A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE STATE OF IDAHO, CONSENTING TO THE ACQUISITION OF THE PROPOSED CONSERVATION EASEMENT FOR THE PURPOSE OF ACQUIRING PROPERTY FOR MITIGATING IMPACTS OF THE PULLMAN MOSCOW REGIONAL AIRPORT RUNWAY REALIGNMENT PROJECT; PROVIDING THAT THIS RESOLUTION SHALL BE IN EFFECT UPON ITS PAS SAGE, AND APPROVAL. WHEREAS, the Moscow City Council has been requested by the Pullman Moscow Regional Airport Board to authorize the Airport Board, through the City of Pullman as fiscal agent for the Regional Airport, to purchase a real estate interest in the form of a Conservation Easement on behalf of the Airport Board; and WHEREAS, the acquisition of the proposed Conservation Easement is an anticipated requirement for mitigation of potential environmental impacts related to the planned realignment of the Airport Runway Project; and WHEREAS, the Moscow City Council has determined that it is in the best interest of the Pullman Moscow Regional Airport Board to purchase the proposed Conservation Easement; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Moscow as follows: That the City of Moscow consents to the Pullman Moscow Regional Airport Board through its fiscal agent, the City of Pullman, to take all necessary actions to acquire a Conservation Easement for the purposes of mitigating potential environmental impacts of the planned realignment of the Airport Runway Project. IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that the Pullman Moscow Regional Airport Board is authorized to execute said purchase of a Conservation Easement. This Resolution shall become effective as of the 20th day of July, 2015. PASSED AND APPROVED by the Mayor of the City of Moscow, Idaho, this 20th day of July, 2015.
