ACCEPTED (OWNER) City of Moscow, Mayor ---PAGE BREAK--- JUSTIFICATION CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 PONDEROSA BOOSTER STATION 1. The plans and specifications for the new Ponderosa Booster Station required the contractor to utilize the same electrical conduit, meter socket, and disconnect that had served the existing station. A determination was made following contract award that the existing electrical service was undersized and that a complete, new service would be required. 2. A 7.5 horsepower motor was specified for the smaller, residential booster. The motor size was increased to 10.0 horsepower, following contract award, to provide for greater built-in capacity for the future growth in the area served by the booster station. The pump capacity may now be increased by simply installing a larger impeller. 3. A larger combination magnetic starter was required for the increase in motor size described above.
