TASK ORDER NO. 2 Pursuant to the MASTER AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES BETWEEN CITY OF MOSCOW, IDAHO AND Z ENGINEERS, PLLC This Task Order is made this 22nd day of August , 20_11_, and entered into by and between the City of Moscow, Idaho, a municipal corporation of the State of Idaho (hereinafter "City"), and accepted by Z Engineers, PLLC (hereinafter "Engineers"), pursuant to the mutual promises, covenants and conditions contained in the Master Agreement for Professional Engineering Services between the above mentioned parties dated the 21 st day of August , 2017. The Project Name for this Task Order 2 is as follows: PRE-DESIGN ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR PROGRAMMABLE LOGIC CONTROLLER SYSTEM UPGRADE FOR CITY OF MOSCOW WATER RECLAMATION AND RE-USE FACILITY PROJECT UNDERSTANDING The pre-design engineering services under this Task Order will provide an evaluation of the existing PLC system, upgrade alternatives, and cost estimates. This will include further examination of the existing system as-built documentation, coordination with equipment manufacturers for the most current product data, coordination of equipment cost information, and presentation of alternatives for upgrading with the existing Siemens PLC platform, versus moving to an Allen Bradley PLC platform. Compatibility with existing MCC's, VFDs and other existing equipment will be considered, to provide the performance and supportability desired by the City. Z Engineers will prepare a pre-design report that will analyze two upgrade alternatives including estimated construction costs and recommendations. Engineers will meet with the City to discuss the report, and assist in making the selection for the new PLC system. All terms in the Master Agreement for Professional Services between the Parties are incorporated in this Task Order. Coordinate with PLC equipment vendors (Siemens and Allen-Bradley) for PLC hardware requirements and latest platforms. 3. Develop preliminary bill of material for each of two upgrade alternatives and prepare hardware and installation cost estimates. 4. Prepare pre-design report, summarizing alternatives, costs and recommendations. 5. On-site meeting with City to review report, and plan course of action. TIME OF COMPLETION AND COMPENSATION SCHEDULE Project Schedule. Engineer will provide report deliverables within four ( 4) weeks of written notice to proceed. ENGINEER shall perform the Services on a time and materials basis for a not-to-exceed total fee of thirteen thousand five hundred dollars ($13,500) as shown on Exhibit No compensation will be paid over the not-to-exceed amount without prior written approval by City in the form of a Change Order. invoices shall be billed for time actually spent on the Project. Design phase services are estimated at current 2017 hourly rates, with bid and construction phase services estimated at 2017 hourly rates.
