RESOLUTION 2006 · 24 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MOSCOW, A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE STATE OF IDAHO, AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN LAND USE MAP (COMPREHENSIVE PLAN, FIGURE 8) DESIGNATING 2.34 ACRES, GENERALLY DESCRIBED AS BEING LOCATED AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF MOUNTAIN VIEW ROAD AND SIXTH STREETAND AS SHOWN ON EXHIBIT ATTACHED HERETO AND INCORPORATED HEREIN BY THIS REFERENCE, FROM MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL (MR) TO CONVENIENCE COMMERCIAL (CC); PROVIDING THAT THIS RESOLUTION BE IN EFFECT UPON ITS PASSAGE, APPROVAL, AND PUBLICATION ACCORDING TO LAW. WHEREAS, the land proposed to be designated Convenience Commercial (CC) is found as being appropriate for that purpose; and WHEREAS, the subject land is adjacent to land currently designated as Medium Density Residential and northeast of land zoned Neighborhood Business; and WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission conducted a public hearing on November 8, 2006 recommended approval of the subject Comprehensive Plan Map designation; and WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council held a public hearing on this matter on December 4, 2006 and passed a motion to approve the proposed Comprehensive Plan Map designation; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the City of Moscow, Idaho as follows: That the Comprehensive Plan Land Use Designation of the 2.34 acres generally described as being the 505 S. Mountain View Road and shown on Exhibit attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference be designated Convenience Commercial (CC) and that the Comprehensive Plan Land Use Map (Comprehensive Plan, Figure 8) of the Moscow Comprehensive Plan show such designation.
