RESOLUTION NO. 91-23 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MOSCOW, A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF IDAHO, ADOPTING RATES TO BE CHARGED PRODUCERS AND GENERATORS FOR THE COLLECTION OF SOLID WASTE WITHIN THE CITY OF MOSCOW i PROVIDING THAT THIS RESOLUTION SHALL SUPERSEDE EXISTING RATES; PROVIDING THAT THE PROVISIONS OF THIS RESOLUTION BE DECLARED SEVERABLE; PROVIDING THAT THIS RESOLUTION SHALL BE IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT AS OF 12:01 A.M. ON JANUARY 1, 1992. WHEREAS, the Council finds it necessary to increase existing fees for the collection of solid waste within the City of Moscow in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Franchise; WHEREAS, the Council will include in the total cost a 4.53% fee to cover recylcing facilities, and a 2. 83% fee to cover composting programs. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOSCOW AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: That all existing resolutions and ordinances relative to the rates for collection of solid waste within the City are hereby superseded by this resolution. SECTION 2: That the rates for collection and disposal of solid waste for residential units, per month, shall be as follows: RATES FOR RESIDENTIAL UNITS. PER MONTH: Individual residential units, including mobile homes, duplexes, and apartments Residential units with a business in the ea. unit home ea. unit Carry-out service outside of building two bags or manual containers Inside of building two bags or manual containers Spring & fall special weekend rate for extra service ea. unit ea. unit cubic yard $9-;-re 11.22 12.94 Residential units utilizing mechanical containers or compactors shall be billed at the business rate for such equipment. SECTION 8: That the provisions of this resolution shall be deemed severable and the invalidity or in lawfulness of any specific rate or other provision shall not affect the remaining rates or other provisions of this resolution. ---PAGE BREAK--- This resolution shall be in full force and effect as of 12: 01 a.m. on January 1, 1992.
