RESOLUTION NO. 2013-11 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MOSCOW, IDAHO, A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE STATE OF IDAHO, PREAUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A U.S. DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION AIRPORT IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM GRANT FOR THE PULLMAN-MOSCOW REGIONAL AIRPORT TERMINAL HV AC REPLACEMENT PROJECT. WHEREAS, it is anticipated that the Pullman-Moscow Regional Airport will be offered a U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration Grant for up to a maximum of $136,800 to be used for the terminal HVAC replacement project; and, · WHEREAS, information about said grant and project elements is before the City Council of the city of Moscow and attached hereto and marked as Exhibit and, WHEREAS, the turnaround time between receipt and return of executed grant authorization documents will be very limited; and, WHEREAS, this Council believes it to be in the best interests of the City of Moscow to preauthorize the acceptance of said grant; now, therefore, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Moscow as follows: 1. That the Mayor be hereby preauthorized and directed to accept the U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration Grant; and 2. That the Mayor is hereby preauthorized and directed to take such further action as may be appropriate in order to effect the purpose of this Resolution.
