RESOLUTION NO. 2014 - 14 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MOSCOW, IDAHO, A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE STATE OF IDAHO, TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF NORTH POLK STREET SAFETY IMPROVEMENTS; PROVIDING THIS RESOLUTION TO BE EFFECTIVE UPON ITS PAS SAGE, APPROVAL, AND PUBLICATION ACCORDING TO LAW. WHEREAS, the Idaho Transportation Department (hereinafter "ITD") has submitted State/Local Agreement (Construction) Project No. A013 (448) N Polk St Safety Improvements Latah County Key No. 13448 (hereinafter "Agreement") stating obligations of ITD and the City of Moscow (hereinafter "City") for construction of North Polk Street Safety Improvements; and WHEREAS, ITD is responsible for obtaining compliance with laws, standards and procedural policies in the development, construction and maintenance of improvements made to the Federal-aid Highway System when there is federal participation in the costs; and WHEREAS, certain functions to be performed by ITD involve the expenditure of funds as set forth in the Agreement; and WHEREAS, ITD can only pay for work associated with the State Highway system; and WHEREAS, City is fully responsible for its share of Project costs; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Moscow as follows: That the Agreement for Federal Aid Highway Project A013 (448) is hereby approved; That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute the Agreement on behalf of City; and That duly certified copies of the Resolution shall be Transportation Department. furnished to the Idaho That this Resolution shall become effective as of day of :tlJu , 2014. \ PASSED AND APPROVED by the Mayor of the City of Moscow, Idaho, this 14- day of ,:liLll A , 2014. \ BiilLambert, Mayor ATTEST: RESOLUTION 2014- 14 ITD, CITY NORTH POLK SAFETY IMPROVEMENTS PAGE I OF I
