RESOLUTION 99-06 WHEREAS, the Idaho Transportation Department, hereinafter called the STATE, has submitted an Agreement stating obligations of the STATE and the City of Moscow, hereinafter called the CITY, for maintenance of State Highway 8 and U.S. Highway 95; and WHEREAS, the STATE is responsible for obtaining compliance with laws, standards, and procedural policies related to the maintenance of state highway routes; and WHEREAS, the Agreement submitted by the STATE is an updating of an existing cooperative agreement under which particular state highway maintenance functions are delegated to and performed by the STATE and the CITY; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOSCOW AS FOLLOWS: That in consideration of the mutual covenants and premises contained in the Agreement, the Moscow City Council accepts the Agreement and confirms that the CITY will perform all maintenance work specifically delegated to it.
