COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT PROJECT NO. NH-4110(150) WASHINGTON STREET; 8TH TO 1sT, MOSCOW LATAH COUNTY KEY NO. 08611 PARTIES THIS AGREEMENT 1s made and entered into this day of VY\ by and between the IDAHO TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT/hereafter called the STATE, and the CITY OF MOSCOW, hereafter called the CITY. PURPOSE The STATE has scheduled a project to improve a portion of US-95 within the CITY limits. The project is located between Eighth Street (MP 345.051) and First Street (MP 345.436) on US-95 (Washington Street). The existing surface at the intersections of 61h and 3'd will be removed and replaced with a concrete surface. The intersections will he constructed one half at a time, requiring closure of the one half of each of the intersections while construction is on-going. The rest of the project will be to mill and overlay with plant mix pavement. This Agreement is to set out the responsibilities of the parties for allowing the temporary closure of 61h and 3'd Street intersections and the upgrading of ADA accessible ramps for the side walks other than at 61h and 3'd Streets. Authority for this Agreement is established by Section 40-713, Idaho Code. The parties agree as follows: SECTION I That the STATE will: 1. Not guarantee that the Federal funds herein sought are available or will be made available for this project. If the funds are unavailable, this Agreement is void. 2. Assume all cost for design and construction of this project. 3. Prior to detouring city street traffic around the temporary intersection closure, coordinate with the CITY on the proposed detour routes. 4. Prior to detouring State Highway traffic onto a CITY street, coordinate with the CITY and document the existing conditions of the proposed detour. RD Register No b f( WashinJ
