RESOLUTION NO. 94- 21 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MOSCOW, A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF IDAHO, ADOPTING RATES TO BE CHARGED PRODUCERS AND GENERATORS FOR THE COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL OF SOLID WASTE WITHIN THE CITY OF MOSCOW; PROVIDING FOR A TRANSFER STATION TIPPING FEE; PROVIDING THAT THIS RESOLUTION SHALL SUPERSEDE EXISTING RATES; PROVIDING THAT THE PROVISIONS OF THIS RESOLUTION BE DECLARED SEVERABLE; PROVIDING THAT THIS RESOLUTION SHALL BE IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT AS OF 12:01 A.M. ON JANUARY 1, 1995. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOSCOW AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: That all existing resolutions and ordinances relative to the rates for collection of solid waste within the City are hereby superseded by this resolution. SECTION 2: That the rates for collection and disposal of solid waste for residential units, per month, shall be as follows: RATES FOR RESIDENTIAL UNITS: The City Council has deemed it appropriate to introduce volume based billing. Residents are automatically signed up for 2-can level ($12.50 + $8.00 - $20.50/month) on January 1. 1995. They will have until January 20, 1995 to change service levels for January billing unless administratively waived. Rental Rates: For Recycling Mobile containers Per Month: Size: 6 Yard Rental: $39.28 Size: 10 1/2 Yard Rental: $60.00 Size: 12 Yard Rental: $70.12 (Sales taxes will be added to the rental rate.) 2. Franchisee Services/Value of Recycled Materials Retained by Franchisee: 1) RMC hauled, emptied and exchanged by Franchisee. 2) No reimbursement for recyclable materials to customer. 3) On call service with 24 hour notice. 4) Rate per haul and exchange. SECTION 8: That the provisions of this resolution shall be deemed severable and the invalidity or unlawfulness of any specific rate or other provision shall not affect the remaining rates or other provisions of this resolution.
