MUTUAL ASSISTANCE AGREEMENT THIS AGREEMENT is made by and between the CITY OF PULLMAN, a municipal corporation of the state of Washington, and the CITY OF MOSCOW, a municipal corporation of the state of Idaho, pursuant to the Interlocal Cooperation Act (R.C.W. Chapter 39.34) and Section 67-2328 of the Idaho Code: and, the city of Pullman, by Resolution No. R-72-94 adopted on June 28. 1994 , has approved and authorized the terms of__this Agreement; an, the city of Moscow by Resolution No. adopted on' Jfo r RESOLUTION NO. WASil 1 , Dt""' g C16u..W" A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT FOR MUTUAL ASSISTANCE BETWEEN THE CITY OF PULLMAN AND THE CITY OF MOSCOW, FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING MUTUAL AID IN THE EVENT OF MAJOR FIRE, DISASTER, OR OTHER EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, the City Council for the city of Pullman has before it a Mutual Assistance Agreement which is attached hereto and marked as Exhibit and, WHEREAS, this Council believes it to be in the best interests of the city of Pullman to authorize the execution of said Mutual Assistance Agreement; now, therefore, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the Mayor and the finance director be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute the Mutual Assistance Agreement attached hereto and marked as Exhibit and to deliver an executed copy thereof to the city of Moscow. IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and finance director are each hereby authorized and directed to take such further action as may be appropriate in order to effect the purpose of this Resolu tion and the Mutual Assistance Agreement authorized thereby. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that executed copies of said Mutual Assistance Agreement shall be filed with the Whitman county Auditor, the Secretary of State of the state of Washington, and the finance director of the city of Pullman.
