RESOLUTION NO. 2000-04 WHEREAS, the lands described on Attachment hereto have been annexed to the City of Moscow; and WHEREAS, the lands described on Attachment hereto are currently designated Medium Density Residential (MR) on the Comprehensive Plan Map; and WHEREAS, the lands described on Attachment hereto are adjacent to lands designated Public on the Comprehensive Plan Map; and WHEREAS, the Moscow Planning and Zoning Commission held a Public Hearing on January 26, 2000, and recommended to the Moscow Mayor and City Council to amend the Comprehensive Plan Land Use Designation of the lands described on Attachment hereto from Low Density Residential to Public and WHEREAS, the Moscow Mayor and City Council held a Public Hearing on this matter on February 22, 2000. NOW THEREFORE, he it resolved by the Mayor and City Council, sitting as the governing board for Moscow, Idaho that the Comprehensive Plan Use Designation of lands described on Attachment hereto be amended from Low Density Residential to Public PASSED by the City Council and APPROVED by the Mayor thisQ!;l day of Februa / Resolution 2000-04 Page I of2 ---PAGE BREAK--- ATTACHMENT FOR RESOLUTION 2000-04 A parcel of land located in the northwest quarter of Section 8, Township 39 North, Range 5 West, Boise Meridian, Latah County, Idaho, and more particularly described as follows Beginning at the northeast corner of said northwest quarter of Section 8; thence N88°50'54"W 767.89 feet along the north line of said Section 8 to a point on the east right-of-way line of Polk Street and the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence S00°59'31 "W 776.89 feet along said right-of-way line to a point on the existing Moscow city limit boundary; thence following said city limit boundary N89°05'29"W 60.00 feet to a point on the west right-of-way line of Polk Street; thence S00°59'31" 141.35 feet along aid right-of-way line to the southeast corner of the Moscow City Shop tract described in Warranty Deed No. 435155 on file with the recorder's office of said Latah County; thence N88°58'29"W 349.67 feet along said City Shop tract boundary; thence SOP01"31"W 474.47 feet to the southeast corner of said City Shop tract; thence N89°05 '29"W 150.05 feet to the southwest corner of said tract; thence N00°59'31"E 624.47 feet to the northwest corner of said tract; thence S89°05'29"E 500.00 Feet to the northeast corner of said tract and a point on the west right-of-way line of Polk Street; thence N00°59'3l"E 767.79 feet along said right-of-way line to a point on the north line of said Section 8; thence leaving said city limit boundary S88°50'54"E 5.47 feet along said north line to the southeast corner of the Hovey tract described in Warranty Deed No. 410877 on file with said recorder's office; thence following the east boundary of said Hovey tract N07°56'31 "W 9.91 feet along the west right-of-way line of Polk Street to a point on said existing city limit boundary; thence N82°03'29"E 65.00 feet along said city limit boundary to a point on the east right-of-way line of Polk Street, said point being the southwest corner of Lot 3 of the Peterson - Williams Subdivision plat recorded in Book 6 of Plats, page 99 of said recorder's office; thence leaving said city limit boundary S07°56'31 "E 20.31 feet along said east right-of-way line (extended) to a point on said north line of Section 8; thence N88°50'54"W 11.30 feet along said north line to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING Said tract contains 4.45 acres, more or less, however excepting therefrom any street right-of-way described herein.
