ORDINANCE NO. 2005-26 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MOSCOW. A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE STATE OF IDAHO, PROVIDING THAT LAND DESCRIBED IN SECTION 1 OF THIS ORDINANCE AND SHOWN ON EXHIBIT ATTACEHD HERETO AND INCORPORATED HEREIN BY THIS REFERENCE BE ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF MOSCOW; PROVIDING THAT THE PROVISIONS OF THIS ORDINANCE BE DEEMED SEVERABLE; PROVIDING FOR THIS ORDINANCE TO BE IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT FROM AND AFTER PASSAGE, APPROVAL AND PUBLICATION ACCORDING TO LAW. WHEREAS, land described in Section 1 of this Ordinance is adjacent to City limits on three sides; and WHEREAS, land described in Section 1 of this Ordinance has been requested to be annexed by the owner or representative thereof; and WHEREAS, Idaho Code Section 50-222 authorizes City annexation of tracts of land adjacent to the City; and WHEREAS, annexation of the land described in Section I of this Ordinance is deemed consistent with Moscow annexation policy set forth in Resolution 2001-15; and WHEREAS, the Moscow Mayor and City Council held a public hearing regarding this matter on Juue 6, 2005 and passed a motion to approve the first reading of this annexation ordiuance, as set forth herein; and WHEREAS, the Moscow Mayor and City Council held a public meeting regarding this matter on June 20, 2005 and passed a motion to approve the second reading of this annexation ordinance; and WHEREAS, the Moscow Mayor and City Council held a public meeting regarding this matter on August 15, 2005 and passed a motion to approve the third and final reading of this annexation ordinance. NOW THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Mayor and Council of the City of Moscow as follows: SECTION 1: LEGAL DESCRIPTION: This Ordinance shall apply to the following described land in Moscow, Latah County, Idaho, to-wit: A parcel of land located in the east half of Section 12, Township 39 North, Range 6 West, Boise Meridian, Latah County, Idaho, and being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the northwest comer of the southeast qumter of the northwest quarter of Section 7, Township 39 North, Range 5 West, Boise Meridian; thence along the west boundary line of said southwest quarter of the notthwest quarter, South 556.80 feet; thence S86°27'W 1355.77 feet along the existing City of Moscow corporate boundary, to the east line of said Section 12; thence continuing along said corporate ORDINANCE 2005 '26 Li NORTH FARM PM
