ORDINANCE NO. 2001-10 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE "ANNUAL APPROPRIATION BILL" APPROPRIATING MONEY FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEFRAYING ALL NECESSARY EXPENSES AND LIABILITY OF THE CITY OF MOSCOW, LATAH COUNTY, STATE OF IDAHO, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING THE FIRST DAY OF OCTOBER, 2000, AND ENDING THE THIRTIETH DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 2001, AND ALLOTTING SAID APPROPRIATION FOR THE OBJECTS AND PURPOSES SET FORTH IN THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING THAT THE PROVISIONS OF THIS ORDINANCE BE DEEMED SEVERABLE; PROVIDING FOR THIS ORDINANCE TO BE IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT FROM AND AFTER !TS PASSAGE, APPROVAL AND PUBLICATION ACCORDING TO LAW. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOSCOW IDAHO AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: There is hereby appropriated out of any monies in the treasury of the City of Moscow, ldaho, not otherwise appropriated, and out of any revenue which the City of Moscow may acquire between the first day of October, 2000, and the thirtieth day of September, 200 I, the sum of $44,717,017 for the purpose of defraying all necessary expenses and liabilities of such corporation for the fiscal year beginning the first day of October, 2000 and ending the thirtieth day of September, 2001. SECTION 2: The following sums are hereby appropriated and allocated for the purpose of defraying expenses and liabilities lor the following objects and purposes: A. GENERAL GOVERNMENT, to which is allocated the sum of$2,156,555. B. LAW ENFORCEMENT AND PREVENTION, to which is allocated the sum of $2,993,606. C. FIRE CONTROL AND PREVENTION, to which is allocated the sum of $1,030,395. D. ANIMAL CONTROL, to which is allocated the sum of$54,569. E. ENGINEERING AND PUBLIC WORKS ADMINISTRATION, to which 1s allocated the sum of$421,768. F. CITY SHOP, to which is allocated the sum of $294,074. G. PUBLIC HEALTH, to which is allocated the sum of$5,122. H. PARKS AND RECREATION, to which is allocated the sum of $2,451,899. I. ARTS COMMISSION, to which is allocated the sum of$107,536. HAMIL TON PARKS AND RECREATION FUND, to which is allocated the sum of $7,000,000. L. HIGHWAYS, STREETS AND ROADWAYS, to which is allocated the sum of $1,902,535. M. AIRPORT, to which is allocated the sum of$31,500. N. 911 SERVICE FUND, to which is allocated the sum of$250,874. 0. WATER AND SEWER, to which is allocated the sum of $8,043,690. P. SANITATION, to which is allocated the sum of$4,080,279. Q. PARKING, to which is allocated the sum of $84,862. R. WASTEWATER CONSTRUCTION FUND, to which is allocated the sum of $10,742,000. S. CAPITAL PROJECTS, to which is allocated the sum of $225,000. T. LID GUARANTY FUND, to which is allocated the sum of$72,750. U. HUD RESERVE FUNDS, to which is allocated the sum of$48,790. V. BONDS & INTEREST, to which is allocated the sum of$655,411. SECTION 3: SEVERABILITY. Provisions of this Ordinance shall be deemed severable and the invalidity of any provision of this Ordinance shall not affect the validity of remaining provisions. SECTION 4: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and the first publication thereof. THIS ORDINANCE was passed under suspension of the rules. A roll call vote was duly taken and this Ordinance was duly enacted as an ordinance of the City of Moscow at a special meeting of the City Council held May 21, 200 I.
