RESOLUTION 2016 - 01 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MOSCOW, A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE STATE OF IDAHO, AUTHORIZING THE DESIGNATION OF AN APPROXIMATELY SEVEN POINT FOUR FIVE (7.45) ACRE PROPERTY, LEGALLY DESCRIBED HEREIN AND AS SHOWN ON EXHIBIT ATTACHED HERETO, AND INCORPORATED HEREIN BY THIS REFERENCE, AS SUBURBAN COMMERCIAL (SC) AND AUTO- URBAN RESIDENTIAL (AU-R); PROVIDING THAT THIS RESOLUTION BE IN EFFECT UPON ITS PASSAGE AND APPROVAL. WHEREAS, the subject property is currently located within the City of Moscow and is designated as Neighborhood Conservation (NC) upon the City of Moscow Comprehensive Plan; and WHEREAS, the owner of the subject property has requested that the Neighborhood Conservation (NC) designation be amended to a combination of Auto-Urban Residential (AU-R) and Suburban Commercial (SC); and WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission conducted a duly noticed public hearing on July 22, 2015 and recommended denial of the proposed amendment to the Comprehensive Plan Land Use Designation; and WHEREAS, the Moscow City Council conducted a public hearing on February 1, 2016 and passed a motion to approve the proposed designation as Auto-Urban Residential (AU-R) and Suburban Commercial (SC); NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the City of Moscow, Idaho as follows: That the Comprehensive Plan Land Use Designation of the approximately three point three one (3 .31) acres legally described as Property # 1 below be amended from Neighborhood Conservation (NC) to the Suburban Commercial (SC) designation. That the Comprehensive Plan Land Use Designation of the approximately four point one four (4.14) acres legally described as Property #2 below be amended from Neighborhood Conservation (NC) to the Auto-Urban Residential (AU-R) designation. PROPERTY#!
