- I 6 _ September 1 , 1994 CHANGE ORDER NO. TWO Sanitary Sewer/Water System Repairs - 1994 Project No. 1 07-94 1. Extra work required to plumb through a buried concrete pier that was not know to exist at the creek crossing replacement (24-inch san. sew). Added Cost.. $2,058.00 2. Extra work to replace 32 feet of 20-inch diameter sanitary sewer main in lieu of the 24 feet that had been described in the original plans. An existing reinforced cast-in-place concrete pipe encasement (buried) would not allow the repair to terminate where originally designated. Added Cost . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $1 ,500.00 3. Extra work to replace 51 feet of 24-inch diameter sanitary sewer main in lieu of the 10 feet that had been described in the original plans. An existing reinforced cast-in-place concrete pipe encasement (buried) would not allow the repair to terminate where originally designated. The area where the addit,ional replacement occurred consisted of paved pathway, curb, landscaping, buried watermain, electrical conduit, and irrigation system. Added Cost.. . . . . . $15,743.00 4. Extra work to plumb a watermain connection at and Polk other than the method that had specified by the original plans - because of an unknown condition of the existing buried main. Added Cost. . . . . . . . $212.00 5. Extra work to renovate 4 of the sanitary sewer manholes in excess of the scope that had been described by the original plans and specifications. 15 additional vertical feet of manhole and 3 manhole bases were replaced under this "extra". This additional work was determined to be required when these manholes were fully excavated and inspection revealed the existing structure (at this depth) could not be salvaged as had been originally anticipated.
