RESOLUTION NO. 2015 - 22 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MOSCOW, IDAHO, A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE STATE OF IDAHO, TO ENTER INTO A COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT FOR INSTALLATION AND/OR UPGRADE OF SIX CURB RAMPS ALONG US95 WITHIN MOSCOW, IDAHO CITY LIMITS AT THREE INTERSECTIONS; PROVIDING THIS RESOLUTION TO BE EFFECTIVE UPON ITS PASSAGE, APPROVAL, AND PUBLICATION ACCORDING TO LAW. WHEREAS, the Idaho Transportation Department (hereinafter "State") has submitted Cooperative Agreement Project No. A019(724), FYI 7 6 ADA Ramps, Latah County, Key No. 19724 (hereinafter "Agreement") stating obligations of the State and the City of Moscow (hereinafter "City") for installation and/or upgrade of curb ramps along US95 within the Moscow, Idaho City limits; and WHEREAS, State will provide funds to the City to be used for Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) curb ramp improvements (Project); and WHEREAS, City is fully responsible for its share of Project costs; and WHEREAS, authority for this Cooperative Agreement is established by Idaho Code § 40-317; and WHEREAS, the Project shall be designed to State Standards as defined in the current version of State's Design Manual; and WHEREAS, City will complete and submit proper inspection forms for each ramp constructed (ITD-0253 ADA Ramp Inspection); and WHEREAS, City will comply with all applicable State and Federal regulations; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Moscow as follows: That the Cooperative Agreement for Project A019(724) to construct ADA improvements on US95 within City limits is hereby approved; That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute the Cooperative Agreement on behalf of City; and That duly certified copies of the Resolution shall be furnished to the Idaho Transportation Department. That this Resolution shall become effective as of the 21 day of December, 2015.
