ORDINANCE NO. 1390 AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN LANDS PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED IN SECTION 2 OF THIS ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MOSCOW, IDAHO; PROVIDING THAT THE CITY MAP AND THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN OF THE CITY OF MOSCOW, IDAHO, BE AMENDED ACCORDINGLY AND PROVIDING FOR THE PUBLICATION AND EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOSCOW, IDAHO: WHEREAS, the land described in Section 2 of this Ordinance is land lying adjacent to the City of Moscow, Idaho; and whereas said land is in- tended and can reasonably be assumed to be used for the orderly develop ment of the City of Moscow, Idaho; and whereas the owners of said land have requested in writing of the Council of the City of Moscow, Idaho, that said land be annexed to the City of Moscow, Idaho: SECTION 1. ANNEXATION. That the land described in Section 2 of this Ordinance be and the same hereby is annexed to the City of Moscow, Idaho, and that said land be and the same hereby is declared a part of the City of Moscow, Idaho. SECTION 2. DESCRIPTIONS. That the land annexed to and declared to be a part of the City of Moscow, Idaho, by this Ordinance is situated in Latah County, State of Idaho, and is more particularly described as follows, to-wit: Beginning at the Southeast corner of Lot 7, Section 16, Township 39 N, Range 5 W of Boise Meridian, thence North along the East line of Lot 7 to a point 260 feet South of the Northeast corner of Lot 7, thence Westerly 370 feet to a point being 220 feet Southerly and 370 feet West of the Northeast corner of Lot 7, thence Northerly 220 feet to a point on the North line of Lot 7, said point being 370 feet West of the Northeast corner of Lot 7, thence North 40 feet: to the North line of Section 16, thence East along the North line of Section 16 to a point 40 feet North of the Northeast corner of Lot 6, Section 16, Township 39 N, Range 5 W of Boise Meridian, thence South along the West line of Lot 6 to the SE corner of Lot 6, Section 16, Township 39 N, Range 5 W, thence West along the North line of Monte Vista Addition and/or the South line of Lot 6 to the Northwest corner of Monte Vista Addition, said corner being also the Southeast corner of Lot 7 and the point of beginning. SECTION 3. The City Engineer of the City of Moscow, Idaho be and is hereby ordered and directed to make the necessary amendments to the Official Zoning Map and Comprehensive Plan of the City of Moscow, Idaho, which map and plan are on file at the City Hall at the City of Moscow, Idaho, to provide that said area is to be henceforth a part of the City of Moscow, Idaho. ---PAGE BREAK--- SECTION 4. PUBLICATION. That this Ordinance shall be published in one issue of the official newspaper of the City of Moscow, Idaho. SECTION 5. EFFECTIVE DATE. That this Ordinance shall be effective from and after the date of its passage and approval and the publication thereof in the aforesaid official newspaper of the City of Moscow, a 4· ADOPTED this _ day of , 1979.
