We were not able to extend our contract to Palouse Clearwater Environmental Institute due to wording in their existing water conservation contract with the City that put a dollar cap on the project. We have not been able to meet to prepare a RFQ to procure for the services we intend to subcontract. In looking at the schedule we feel it would be best to request a one-year extension in order to move the project start date to October 1, 2009 rather than October 8, 20 We apologize for the delay but everyone has been busier than we ever anticipated especially with all the ARRA programs. I know certain funding has to be used by a certain date or it is lost so I am not sure if this is going to be feasible to grant us an extension. If not, we may need to consider returning the funding award. Please let us know how we can proceed. Thank you.
