2018 Vendor Guidelines Backyard Harvest Market Money (Wooden Tokens) Market Money drawn from Food Stamp Benefits may be accepted to purchase the following: ✓ fruits & vegetables ✓ seeds & plant starts for growing food ✓ loaves of bread ✓ eggs ✓ cheese ✓ honey ✓ meat ✓ bulk hot food items (i.e. 2lbs. barbecue) Market Money may not be accepted to purchase the following: single servings of hot food items (i.e. a hamburger) single servings of baked goods (i.e. a single cinnamon roll) non-food items (i.e. crafts, flower seeds, house plants, etc.) Fresh Bucks FREE Incentive Cash (Paper Currency) Fresh Bucks may ONLY be accepted to purchase: FRUITS, VEGETABLES, MUSHROOMS, STARTS Additional Information o Vendors will not give change, but may round purchases to the amount of the Market Money/Fresh Bucks with additional fruit, veggies, etc. o Vendors will not exchange Market Money/Fresh Bucks with other vendors or shoppers o Vendors will be reimbursed for the Market Money/Fresh Bucks they accept o Backyard Harvest will collect Market Money/Fresh Bucks from vendors after each market and provide a receipt o Checks will be sent by the 15th of the month following redemption.
