July 19, 2004 CHANGE ORDER NO. I Project: Northwest Reservoir Renovation - 2004 I. Remove three existing roof vents and replace with three new I 0 gauge plates. New plates shall be blasted to white metal and metalized in accordance with A WW A D I 02-78, IS-7-2. Plates to be fastened to the roof with 5/16 inch galvanized bolts@ 3.5 inch on center. A dded Cost 850.00 2. Remove existing trays under each of the three existing vents. A dded Cost $1,200.00 3. Remove three old plates welded over original tank vents and replace with three new I 0 gauge plates. New plates shall be blasted to white metal and metalized in accordance with A WWA 0102-78, IS-7-2. Plates to be fastened to the roof with 5/16 inch galvanized bolts @ 3.5 inch on center. A dded Cost $1,850.00 4. Furnish and install new tank vent at top, center of existing roof and move existing aviation light to new vent A ll steel components shall be blasted to white metal and metalized in accordance with A WW A D I 02-78, IS-7-2. Remove old roof hatch and corroded section of roof; furnish and install a new roof hatch designed in accordance with A WWA DIOO. Abrasive blast in accordance to SSPC-SP7 the lower two inside rings and floor of reservoir to remove bubbled I blistered portion of the existing coating; followed by the application of DEVOE's Vy-Kote 455HSA paint (compatible with the existing coating). Prime bare areas to 3-5 mils DFT using a brush and I or roller, tollowed by a full coat of DEVOE's Vy-Kote 455HSA vinyl paint (compatible with the existing coating). Added Cost $26,050. 00 8.
