AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES RELATED TO THE MOUNTAIN VIEW IMPROVEMENTS. SIXTH STREET TO PARADISE CREEK PROJECT THIS AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES RELATED TO THE MOUNTAIN VIEW IMPROVEMENTS, SIXTH STREET TO PARADISE CREEK PROJECT (hereinafter "Agreement"), is made and entered into this I 1"day of , 2008, by and between the City of Moscow, Idaho, a municipal corporation of the State of Idaho, 206 Third Street, Moscow, Idaho, 83843 (hereinafter referred to as "CITY"), and Hodge & Associates, Inc., 405 South Washington Street, Moscow, Idaho, 83843 (hereinafter referred to as "ENGINEER"). W I T N E S S E T H : WHEREAS, CITY desires to affect improvements to the portion of Mountain View Road from Sixth Street to Paradise Creek, to include widening, approaches, intersection improvements, storm drainage, retaining wall, bicycle lanes, and ADA compliant pedestrian facilities (hereinafter "PROJECT"); and WHEREAS, CITY Public Works Department has selected the above-referenced ENGINEER to complete the Scope of Work identified herein; and WHEREAS, ENGINEER has prepared the Scope of Work which is attached hereto as Exhibit and WHEREAS, CITY wishes ENGINEER to complete the Scope of Work pursuant to this Agreement; NOW, THEREFORE, be it agreed that for and in consideration of the mutual covenants and promises between the parties hereto, that: SECTION 1: SCOPE OF WORK A. ENGINEER Deliverahles ENGINEER shall develop all documents necessary to build Mountain View Road under the requirements for public bidding of construction projects. These documents shall include the following: I. Construction drawings a. Title Sheet b. Grading/Erosion and Sediment Control Sheet c. Plan & Profile Sheets (including Utilities) d. Detail Sheet e. Landscape Plan f. Franchise Utility Plan (if necessary) g. Traffic Control Plan 2. Construction Specifications (Use CITY standards with Special Provisions) 3. Advertisement for Bids 4. ENGINEER's Construction Estimate 5. Furnish one stamped set of l!nal approved construction plans to CITY (Wet seal) and a Mylar set PI
