RESOLUTION NO. 2009 - 02 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MOSCOW, A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE STATE OF IDAHO, AGREEING TO SUPPORT THE PROJECT IDENTIFICATION SUBMITTAL FOR THE CITY OF MOSCOW COMPREHENSIVE TRANSPORTATION PLAN; PROVIDING THAT THIS RESOLUTION TO BE EFFECTIVE UPON ITS PASSAGE AND APPROVAL. WHEREAS, the City of Moscow, Jdaho (hereinafter referred to as "CITY'") has submitted an application for the 2009 Local Highway Technical Assistance Council (hereinafter referred to as "LHT AC for a City of Moscow Comprehensive Transportation Plan; and WHEREAS, Moscow City Council supports the project and project application; and WHEREAS, CITY acknowledges that the total project cost estimate is $300,000, which will require the City's financial commitment of $22,000 local matching funds; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Moscow, Idaho as follows: 1. The Moscow City Council supports the City of Moscow Comprehensive Transportation Plan project and application. 2. The Moscow City Council acknowledges financial responsibility of $22,000 local matching funds for this project. 3. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to sign the project identification packet and submit it to LHT AC for prioritization.
