RESOLUTION NO. 2010 -11 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MOSCOW, IDAHO, A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE STATE OF IDAHO, AGREEING TO SUPPORT FEDERAL AID SAFE ROUTES TO SCHOOL PROJECT; PROVIDING THIS RESOLUTION TO BE EFFECTIVE UPON ITS PASSAGE, APPROVAL, AND PUBLICATION ACCORDING TO LAW. WHEREAS, the Idaho Transportation Department (hereinafter "STATE") has submitted an Agreement stating obligations of the STATE and the CITY OF MOSCOW, Idaho (hereinafter ''CITY") for development of the FY 10 Safe Routes to School non-Infrastructure project, hereinafter "Project"); and WHEREAS, the STATE is responsible for obtaining compliance with laws, standards and procedural policies in the development of projects when there is Federal participation in the costs; and WHEREAS, certain functions to be performed by the STATE involve the expenditure of funds as set forth in the Agreement; and WHEREAS, the STATE can only pay for work associated with the State Highway system; and WHEREAS, the CITY is fully responsible for its share of Project costs; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Moscow as follows: 1. That the Agreement for Federal Aid Highway Project A012(020) is hereby approved; 2. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute the Agreement on behalf of the CITY; and 3. That duly certified copies of this Resolution shall be furnished to lTD PASSED AND APPROVED by the Mayor of the City of Moscow, Idaho, this 6th day of July, 2010.
