RESOLUTION NO. 90- 14 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MOSCOW, A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF IDAHO; ADOPTING A FEE OF EIGHTY CENTS PER MONTH TO BE CHARGED TO TELEPHONE LINE USERS FOR A 911 EMERGENCY COMMUNICATION TELEPHONE SYSTEM TO BE EFFECTIVE DECEMBER 1, 1990. WHEREAS, at an election held on November 6, 1990 the electorate of the City of Moscow approved a telephone user fee to fund an emergency telephone system, commonly known as 911 service; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: charged to each 911 services: USER FEE. The following user fee shall be telephone line within the City to support telephone user fee: $ . 80 SECTION 2: This fee shall not be charged to lines strictly dedicated to data use or lines serving the University of Idaho. SECTION 3: Funds received pursuant to this Resolution shall be placed in a dedicated fund and shall be utilized solely for the City's 911 Emergency Communication System. SECTION 4: EFFECTIVE DATE: This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after December 1, 1990. PASSED by the City Council and APPROVED by the Mayor this 19th day of November, 1990.
