MORGAN COUNTY COMMISSION SUMMARY OF SPECIAL CALLED METING July 19, 2012 5:30 P.M. 150 East Washington Street Officials attending: Chairman Ellen Warren, Commissioners Mack B. Bohlen and Donald B. Harris. In addition, County Manager Michael Lamar, Finance Director Lori Sayer and County Clerk Jane Laseter. Officials absent: Vice-Chair Andrew A. Ainslie, Jr. 5:30 P.M. Resolution to Levy Taxes for the Fiscal Year 2013 ACTION – Approved Resolution to Levy Taxes for the Fiscal Year 2013 setting the County millage rate at 8.99 mills. Old Business: 1. New Business: 1. Request for Contribution to Baxter Ground Breaking ACTION – Approved up to and not to exceed $6,000 for Baxter groundbreaking ceremony with possible donations coming in to reimburse County for some of these funds. Unanimously Approved 2. Purchase of Services for Juvenile Offenders Application for Funding – Request for Transfer of Funds ACTION – Approved the Purchase of Services for Juvenile Offenders Application for Funding – Request for Transfer of Funds. Unanimously Approved Added to Agenda – Resolution – Intent to Construct Roadway Improvements – Seven Islands Road 2012-RES-013 ACTION – Approved the Resolution – Intent to Construct Roadway Improvements – Seven Island Road, Resolution No. 2013-RES-013. Unanimously Approved
